Documents and e-signing
Updated Oct 20, 2026
Send any paper to a customer to initial and sign online: your moving services agreement, a storage agreement, a damage release or your own PDF.
Make a document
Go to Settings › Documents & e-sign and press New document. Then:
- Start from a ready-made document (moving services agreement, storage agreement, existing damage acknowledgment, release for owner-packed and fragile items) and press Use this one, or
- Start a blank document and write your own, or
- Upload a PDF (drop it in the box, up to 10 MB) and press Upload and add boxes.
In a text document, drag the chips into the text: customer and move details (filled in from the lead or job), Customer signs here, initials, dates, boxes the customer fills in, You sign here for your company signature, and a Second signer who signs after the customer. The preview on the right updates as you type, on your letterhead.
On a PDF, drag boxes onto the page: signature, initials, date, a tick box, or text they type. For each box choose Who fills it in.
Try it first
Press Send me a test. You get the document by email with sample details. Sign it like a customer, then see the signed copy and the emails that come back.
Send it to sign
Open a lead or job, find the document under Files or Documents, and press Send to sign. Choose email, text or both, how long the link stays open, a second signer if needed, and whether each signer must type a code texted to their phone.
Track it
The signing page shows who has signed, in order, and the history. The customer can decline with a reason. Reminders go out every 2 days (up to 3). The signed PDF is saved on the lead or job, with a certificate of completion page. Check a copy tells you if a PDF someone sends you is exactly the signed one.
