Two kinds of data

• Our customers' data. Moving companies use MoveHelm to manage their own customers. For that data the moving company is in charge, and we process it only on their instructions. If you are a mover's customer, contact that moving company about your data.
• Our own data. Information about the people who visit our website, ask for a demo or sign up. For that data we are in charge, and this policy applies.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, company, email, phone.
• Account and billing details. Card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
• How you use the website and the service, such as pages visited and features used, to improve the product.
• Messages you send to our support team.

How we use it

• To provide, secure and support the service.
• To reply to you and send account and billing emails.
• To send product news, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• We never sell personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run MoveHelm, under contracts that protect your data: hosting and database (Cloudflare, Supabase), email (Postmark), text messages (Twilio), payments (Lemon Squeezy), AI features (Anthropic), error monitoring and analytics. We may share information if the law requires it.

Mobile information and text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages.

Where data is stored

MoveHelm data is stored in the United States. We protect it with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and daily backups.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, and up to 30 days after you cancel, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and the European Union), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information. Email privacy@movehelm.com and we will answer within 30 days.
