Leads by email and the Lead inbox
Updated Oct 20, 2026
Every company gets its own lead email address. Any email sent to it becomes a lead with a call-back task, usually within a minute.
Find your address
Go to Settings › Leads by email and copy Your lead email address.
Send your leads there
- Lead sites (Yelp, Thumbtack, Moving.com, Equate Media and others): change the email address the site sends leads to.
- Gmail or Google Workspace: set up forwarding. The page walks you through it click by click. Gmail sends a confirmation code to your address; it shows on the same page within a minute so you can type it into Gmail.
- Outlook or Microsoft 365: add a rule that forwards lead emails to the address.
- One email at a time: just forward it.
How emails are read
MoveHelm reads the name, phone, email, dates, addresses, size and inventory from the email, with patterns and with AI. The lead's source is the site that sent it (for example moving.com). If two readings disagree, the lead gets a "Please check" note.
Lead inbox
Emails MoveHelm isn't sure about wait in Leads › Lead inbox. Accept the real ones to turn them into leads, add one to a lead you already have, or Reject spam. Ask a lead seller for a credit on a bad lead from the same screen.
Lead sources & parsing
In Settings › Lead sources & parsing you list where leads come from and what each costs, who gets an email about each new lead, and whether Google Maps measures the miles on new leads.
